: Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to give notional promotion to the petitioner on par with his juniors to the post of Senior Vocational Instructor (Commerce) from 2017 for the purpose of pensionary benefits by following the seniority procedure adopted till 2016-2017 fro promotion of Senior Vocational Instructor (Commerce) as per G.O.Ms.No.185 dated 25.08.2008.

Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. 2.The grievance of the petitioner is his request for notional promotion for the purpose of calculating pension has not been considered by the respondents. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court with the above prayer.

W.P(MD)No.14680 of 2020 3.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would be suffice if the representation of the petitioner dated 19.05.2017 is directed to be disposed of, within a stipulated time limit.
4.In view of the limited relief sought for, this Court, without expressing anything on the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.05.2017 and pass appropriate orders, on its own merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
