ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.SRIMATHY, J) The prayer sought for in this writ petition is to open the temple, namely, "Arulmigu Muthumari Amman Temple" at Thatchapatti Village, Uthapuram Revenue Village, Periyaur Taluk, Madurai District, for the welfare of the general public to continue the daily worship without any discrimination on the basis of the order passed by this Court in W.P.(MD)No. 14005 of 2019 dated 11.07.2019.

2. This Court directed the learned Special Government Pleader to get instructions in this regard.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Special Government Pleader, on instructions, submitted that the temple is opened by the authority.

4. In view of the above, the prayer sought for in this writ petition has been granted. Hence, nothing survives for further adjudication. Therefore, this writ petition is closed. No costs. [S.S.Y., J.] [R.V., J.] skn 21.05.2025 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes 3/5
