: Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records pertaining to the impugned order issued by the second respondent in his proceedings D.O.No.581/2017, R.C.No.A1/648/21387/2017 dated 07.08.2017 and quash the same on the ground that the same is arbitrary, illegal and without Jurisdiction and consequently directing the respondents to drop all further proceedings pertaining to the impugned transfer order dated 07.08.2017.

2.The writ petition has been filed challenging the correctness of the impugned transfer order dated 07.08.2017 from Thirukokarnam Police Station to Trichy District on administrative grounds. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner who is serving as Head Constable, has suffered two transfer orders within a year. Firstly, the petitioner was transferred from Keeranur Police Station to Thirukokarnam Police https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Station and again he was transferred from Thirukokarnam Police Station to Trichy District vide the proceedings of the second respondent in D.O.No.581/2017, R.C.No.A1/648/21387/2017 dated 07.08.2017. The learned counsel would further submit that since the petitioner's children are studying, the petitioner would be put to great problem as he has been transferred during the middle of the academic year.

4.This Court is unable to find any merit in this writ petition. The reason is that the Superintendent of Police has passed an order of transfer and posted the petitioner at Trichy District only in accordance with the orders issued by the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Trichy Range, Trichy, vide proceedings in R.O.No.162/2017, in C.No.A1/5025/2017 dated 31.07.2017, along with two other persons, namely, Mr.Ramadurai from Aranthangi Police Station, Pudukkottai District and Mr.Nagamuthu from Ponnamaravathy Police Station, Pudukkottai District.

5.This Court is unable to find any infirmity in this case as the impugned transfer order issued by the second respondent clearly shows that the petitioner has been transferred only for administrative reasons. It is a well settled law that the authority and the employer are entitled to transfer the employees on administrative grounds. Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed. No Costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
