(Order of the Court was made by G.R.SWAMINATHAN, J) This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent herein to permit the petitioner to conduct the "Punitha Jebamalai Matha" festival at Pothamettupatti, Pananthopu on 08.10.2017 from 7.00 p.m to 11.00 p.m. 2.The Writ Petitioner has submitted a representation in this regard on 18.09.2017.

3.Heard the learned counsel for the writ petitioner as well as the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondent. 4.Considering the submissions made on either side, this Court passes the following order:- https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ ● The respondent is directed to grant permission to the writ petitioner to conduct "Punitha Jebamalai Matha" festival at

Pothamettupatti, Pananthopu, subject to the following conditions:

● The event shall be conducted in an organised and peaceful manner without causing any law and order problem. ● There shall not be any obscene or vulgar scenes during the dance performance by any one of the participants or others. ● The programme timings shall be between 07.00 p.m. and 10.00 p.m. on 08.10.2017.

● If there is any violation of the above said conditions, the second respondent or the duly authorised officer is entitled to take necessary action as per law and stop such performance.

5. The Writ Petition is disposed of, with the above directions. No costs.
