: Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to pass appropriate orders for appointment of petitioner on compassionate grounds based on his educational qualification in any suitable post by considering the representation submitted by the Petitioner dated 09.03.2020 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

ORDER

Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. 2.According to the petitioner, seeking appointment on compassionate ground, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 09.03.2020 to the respondents. However, the representation of the petitioner has not been considered by the respondents for quite a long time and hence, the petitioner is before this Court, praying for appropriate directions to the respondents. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

WP(MD)No.13661 of 2020 3.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would be suffice if the representation of the petitioner dated 09.03.2020 is directed to be disposed of, within a stipulated time limit.

4.In view of the limited relief sought for, this Court, without expressing anything on the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.03.2020 and pass appropriate orders, on its own merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
