The writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to give police protection for the conduct of festival in Arulmigu Kombumadasamy Temple, Pettai, Tirunelveli, on 24.02.2017. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted, during the course of argument, that the petitioner restricts his prayer to the effect that he may be permitted to worship in Kombumadasamy Temple, Pettai, Tirunelveli, on 24.02.2017 and the learned counsel has also made an endorsement to that effect. 4.Recording the above endorsement, the petitioner is permitted to worship in Kombumadasamy Temple, Pettai, Tirunelveli, on 24.02.2017. As the petitioner is one of the worshipers, he has every right to worship the idol of the temple. Further, the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
respondents are directed to give police protection to the petitioner, if any necessity arises, on 24.02.2017. 5.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
