PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent herein to issue the patta in the name of the petitioner for his property in S.No.166/930 at Palaya Ayakudi Village, Palani Taluk, Dindigul District by way of considering the petitioner's representation on 22.05.2017.

This Writ Petition is filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to issue the patta based on the representation of the petitioner dated 22.05.2017. 2.Mr.C.Selvaraj , learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for respondent. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would suffice, if a direction is issued to the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 22.05.2017. 4.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent would submit that the representation of the petitioner would be considered in accordance with law.

5.In view of the above submission, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 22.05.2017 and take appropriate action on merits and in accordance with law, after providing an opportunity to all necessary parties, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
