This Criminal Original Petition filed under section 482 of criminal procedure code to quash the proceedings in the First Information report in Crime no.577 of 2020 pending on the file of the Inspector, Annavasal Police Station, Pudukkottai District. ORDER:- This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.Navanetha Raja, Advocate for the Petitioner and of Mr.Sakthi Kumar, Government Advocate for the respondent No.1, this Court made the following order:

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that this Court by order, dated 25.04.2022 allowed the said Crl.O.P on condition to deposit a sum of Rs.5,000/- as costs to the credit of Government of Tamil Nadu, CMPRF in IOB, Secretariat Branch, Chennai - 9 on or before 02.05.2022. But, due to the unavoidable circumstances, he was not able to pay the amount. Hence, he has filed the present petition seeking extension of time. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2

2. The learned counsel would further submit that subsequently, the petitioner has paid the said amount on 05.07.2022 and also produced a copy of the receipt before this Court.

3. In view of the same, the delay payment is condoned and accordingly, this petition is closed.
