ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for Mandamus directing the respondents to grant permission to conduct Ennesai Kacheri will be held on 28.05.2025 and Adal Padal programme will be held on 29.05.2025 at Sri Utchi Mahaliamman Thirukovil Thiruvizha Thirikoodapuram, Chokkampatti Post, Tenkasi District and to give necessary police protection to the said programme in the light of the petitioner's last representation dated 12.05.2025.

2. Mr.R.M.Anbunithi, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has submitted a representation to the respondents on 12.05.2025 seeking permission to conduct Ennesai Kacheri on 28.05.2025 and Adal Padal programme on 29.05.2025 in Sri Utchi Mahaliamman Thirukovil Thiruvizha at Thirikoodapuram, Chokkampatti Post, Tenkasi District. Since the said representation was not considered, the present Writ Petition has been filed. 2/4

Considering the limited scope of the prayer in the writ petition, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 12.05.2025 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law on or before 26.05.2025.
