PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticpatory Bail in Crime No.9 of 2022 on the file of the Respondent Police. ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 8(c), 20(b)(ii)(B) and 25 of Narcotic 1/3

Drugs & Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 in Cr.No.09 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that A1 and A2 were found in illegal possession of four kgs of ganja. The petitioner herien is the brother of A1. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent opposes to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner on the ground that the petitioner is having 22 previous cases to his credit.

5.Considering the facts and circumstances of this case and also considering the antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
