************ By the consent of both sides, the writ petition itself is taken for final disposal.

2.This writ petition has been filed seeking Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to rectify the erroneous calculation of promotion fitment at par with petitioner's junior and consequently direct to pay all eligible promotion full pay and allowance, pension benefits and all other monetary benefits according to law based on the representation dated 19.09.2017. 3.The petitioner is a retired Junior Engineer II Grade. The grievance of the petitioner is that the respondent has erroneously calculated the promotion of the petitioner on par with petitioner's juniors and had not disbursed all eligible promotion pay, allowances, pension benefits and all other monetary benefits to the petitioner. Therefore, the petitioner has given representation on 19.09.2017. But the same has not been considered till date. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court with the present writ petition.

4.Mr.K.Guru, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondent sought sufficient time to consider the petitioner's representation.

5.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner, this Court hereby directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.09.2017, and pass orders on merits, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

6.The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No Costs.
