Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to survey the petitioner's property comprised in Survey No.236/1A, 1B measuring an extent of 3515 sq. feet situated at Punganoor Village, Thayanoor Revenue Village, Trichy District on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 14.08.2017 within the time stipulated by this Court.

The petitioner seeks for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to survey the petitioner's property comprised in Survey No.236/1A, 1B measuring an extent of 3515 sq. feet situated at Punganoor Village, Thayanoor Revenue Village, Trichy District on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 14.08.2017 within the time stipulated by this Court. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
2.Heard Mr.B.Jameel Arasu, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned Special Government Pleader, who took notice for respondents. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.According to the petitioner, he became absolute owner of the property to an extent of 3515 square feet in Survey No.236/1A, situated at Punganoor Village, Thayanoor Revenue Village, Trichy District through a registered sale deed dated 13.08.2014. After purchase, he has been in possession and enjoyment of the same. 4.The petitioner would state that he submitted an application to the respondents on 07.08.2017 to measure his property and he also paid necessary fees. Since no action was taken, he sent a representation on 14.08.2017.
Despite the same, no steps were taken, hence, he filed the present writ petition. 5.In the light of the above facts, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 14.08.2017 and take appropriate action on merits and in accordance with law, after providing opportunity to all necessary parties, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
