This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.09.2017 and to take necessary action as against the 5th respondent and to give adequate police protection to conduct the "kodai festival" under the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
one roof at "Padrakaliamman Temple" situated at Sivakamipuram Village, Tirunelveli District in pursuance of the Civil Court order. 2.Heard, Mr.S.Krishnan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Anand, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), appearing for the respondents 1 to 4.
3.This Court by an order dated 22.09.2017 has dismissed the above Writ Petition with a cost of Rs.10.000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) and the said cost is to be paid to the credit of the Hon'ble Chief Justice Relief Fund, Madurai Bench of Madras High Court, Madurai.
4.The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that against the aforesaid order, the petitioner has preferred an appeal in WA(MD)No.1349 of 2017 before the Division Bench and by an order dated 08.02.2018, the Hon'ble Division Bench has partly allowed the appeal and set aside the portion of the order imposing cost of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) on the Appellant/Writ Petitioner. He has also produced a web copy of the order passed in WA(MD)No.1349 of 2017.
5.A perusal of a copy of the said order shows that the petitioner herein has filed Writ Appeal in WA(MD)No.1349 of 2017 and the Hon'ble Division Bench has partly allowed the said appeal on 08.02.2018 and set aside the portion of the order imposing the cost of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) on the petitioner. Hence, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
