ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners / accused, who were arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 07.05.2025, for the alleged offences punishable under Section 194 of 1/3

BNSS, 2023 @ 105 of BNS, 2023 in Crime No.101 of 2025 on the file of the respondent-police seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the deceased had extra marital affair with one Mariammal and given sexual harassment to her and the same was not tolerated by her and she informed the same to her sons, due to which, the accused persons went to the victim's house and warned him and there arose wordy quarrel and assaulted him with hands and legs and caused death. Hence, the case.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are innocent persons and they have not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and their names have been falsely implicated in this case. He further submits that the petitioners have been in judicial custody since 07.05.2025 and hence, he prays to grant bail to the petitioners.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) appearing for the respondent-Police, submits that the petitioners were arrested only on 07.05.2025 and the investigation of this case is pending and therefore, at this stage, if the petitioners are released on bail, they may abscond and cause threat to the defacto complainant and other witnesses. Hence, he prays for dismissal of this petition.

5. Heard on both sides and perused the records.

6. Considering the gravity of offence and that the investigation of the case is at 2/3

the preliminary stage, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners.
