Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to settle payment of Gratuity, Earned Leave, Medical Leave, Commutation of pension, provident fund and all other retirement benefits payable to the petitioner with 18 percentage rate of interest within the time frame that may be stipulated by this Hon'ble Court.

This contempt petition is filed that order of this Court in W.P(MD) No.8093 of 2021, dated 20.04.2021 has not been complied with.

2.Today(10.12.2021), when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the respondents agreed to pay the entire retirement benefits in six equal installments and the first installment will start from 10.01.2022. He further submits that since the order of this Court has been complied with by the respondent and he has also made an endorsement to that effect, the contempt petition may be closed. 3.Recording the aforesaid submission made on behalf of the petitioner, this contempt petition is closed.
