O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM, J.] The petitioner has filed this habeas corpus petition seeking direction to the respondents to produce his son, namely, Shanmuganathan, aged about 19 years, before this Court and set him at liberty.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that the detenu is found missing from 11.10.2020 and he could not be traced thereafter. The Police complaint also evoked no response.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.K.Dinesh Babu, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, who takes notice for the respondents, submitted that the detenu eloped with one Srija and her parents also lodged a complaint before the second respondent. H.C.P.(MD) No.877 of 2020 Srija appeared before the All Women Police Station, Thanjavur, and sought police protection and the petition was registered in C.S.R.No.472 of 2020 on 11.10.2020.
