By consent, this writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2. Mr.M.Alagathevan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents.

3. The case of the petitioner is that the second respondent herein has acquired certain lands for the purpose of laying four way track, including the petitioner's land. For the said acquisition, a compensation amount was awarded and the same was received by the petitioner, with objection, on 22.06.2016. Being dissatisfied with the compensation awarded, the petitioner submitted a representation before the second respondent on 27.06.2016 followed by a remainder on 26.07.2017. As the same is kept pending without any action, the petitioner is before this Court.

4. Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for in the prayer, this Court, without going into the merits of the

case, directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 26.07.2017 and pass appropriate orders, on its own merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
