PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the entire records from the second respondent in H.S.(M) Confdl.No.108/2021 dated 04.08.2021 by setting aside the said order of detention passed by the second respondent and setting the detenu Manikandan S/o.Kombaiah, aged about 23 years, at liberty now detained in the Central Prison, Palayamkottai.

The petitioner is the mother of the detenu, namely, Manikandan S/o.Kombaiah, aged about 23 years. The detenu has been detained by the second respondent by his proceedings in H.S.(M) Confdl.No.108/2021 dated 04.08.2021 holding him to be a "Goonda", as contemplated under Section 2(f) of Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982. 2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, by producing a copy of G.O.Rt.No.5010, Home, Prohibition & Excise (XII) Department, dated 28.10.2021, would state that the impugned detention order has been revoked and hence, the prayer sought for in this Habeas Corpus Petition has become infructuous.

3. Recording the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed as having become infructuous.
