The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to issue patta in respect of the land situated in S.No.563, Paraipatti Village, Nelkattumseval revenue group, Sivagiri Taluk, Tenkasi District, with an extent of 0.01.00 Ares, by considering the representation of the petitioner's son dated 27.12.2020.
2. Heard the arguments of Mr.S.Malaikani, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mrs.S.Jeya Priya, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

It is the case of the petitioner that the total extent of land situated in S.No.563 was divided into number of plots and plot No.1 with an extent of 2 1⁄2 cents was assigned in favour of petitioner's wife Thiruvu by the Thasildar, Sivagiri, by order dated 26.03.1991. The said assignment was not at all entered in the revenue register and there is a dispute with regard to the extent assigned in favour of petitioner's wife also. Therefore, the petitioner's son submitted a representation on 27.12.2020 before the respondents requesting them to conduct enquiry 2/6
with regard to the property assigned in favour of his mother and issuance of patta in his name. The said representation has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.
4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, on instructions would submit that S.No.563/4 stands in the name of one V.Valli and hence, there is a difficulty in considering the request of the petitioner.
5. The assignment order passed by the Thasildar, Sivagiri, dated 26.03.1991, in respect of plot No.1 in S.No.563 is produced in the typed set of papers. Therefore, the representation submitted by the petitioner's son dated 27.12.2022 shall be considered in the light of the assignment order dated 26.03.1991 passed in favour of the petitioner's wife. It is needless to say that the final order in the representation of the petitioner's son shall be passed only after hearing the petitioner and other interested parties. In any event, the representation of the petitioner's son shall be disposed of within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With these directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
