This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to instruct the third respondent to give adequate police protection to the life of the petitioner and her family members and forbearing the 4th respondent to evict the petitioner forcibly from her property on the basis on the petitioner's representation dated 28.09.2020.

2. The petitioner seeks police protection as she anticipates harm at the hands of the fourth respondent. Based on the complaint given by the petitioner, the third respondent police has registered First Information Report in Crime No.875 of 2020, for the alleged offences under Sections 147, 294(b), 447, 427, 342, 380 & 506(ii) of IPC against the fourth respondent and 50 others. After filing of the First Information Report, the fourth respondent is trying to evict the petitioner from her property. In this regard, she has made a representation dated 28.09.2020 to the first respondent. So far, no action has been taken. Crl.O.P(MD)No.12551 of 2020 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice, if a direction is issued to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 28.09.2020 and give police protection, if it is necessary.

4.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 to 3.

5. Considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the 3rd respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 28.09.2020. If necessary, the respondent police is directed to give police protection to the petitioner. If it is found that police protection is not necessary, based on the petitioner's complaint, the representation shall be rejected and the same shall be communicated to the petitioner so that he can work out his rights in the manner known to law. 6.With the above direction, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
