Prayer : Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue Writ of Certiorari, to call for the records relating to the impugned suspension order passed by the first respondent in his proceedings in Ref.No.47265/SCI/3/2023 dated 19.05.2023 and quash the same as illegal.

2.The petitioner challenges the suspension order dated 19.05.2023 on the grounds mentioned in the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submitted that he would be satisfied if a direction is given for speedily concluding the enquiry proceedings. No exception can be taken to this request.

3.The first respondent is directed to conclude the disciplinary proceedings on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The first respondent shall make available to the petitioner all the relevant documents. What has not been served on the petitioner shall not be relied on. It is made clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. This writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
