PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records pertaining to the impugned check slip in RFL/Srirangam/59/2025 dated 30/04/2025 by the respondent and quash the same as illegal and consequently directing the respondent to forthwith to accept and register the sale deed presented by the petitioner on 29.08.2024 in respect of the properties in S.No.174/3 and S.F.No. 2732 situated at Tiruchirappalli District, based on the certified copy of the sale deed (Doc.No. 992/2025) and other supporting documents submitted by the petitioner.

ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to quash the impugned check slip dated 30.04.2025 1/4

and consequently directing the respondent to accept and register the sale deed presented by the petitioner on 29.08.2024.

2. It is seen from the records that the respondent has rejected to register the sale deed since the land belongs to the temple. This issue was already considered by the Hon'ble Division Bench in the case of Sudha Ravi Kumar and Another Vs. The Special Commissioner and Others in W.P.Nos.30589 of 2013 and batch, dated 05.04.2017, wherein it is directed to issue notice to the petitioner and the temple and conduct enquiry and pass orders.

3. Therefore, the respondent is directed to conduct an enquiry and pass orders in accordance to law, after issuing notice to the petitioner and the temple.

4. With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
