O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of Mandamus, seeking a direction to the respondents, particularly to the second and third respondents/Tahsildar and Taluk Surveyor of Madurai East Taluk, Madurai District to conduct survey of the lands in S.No. 43/2D, 49/4F, 49/4K, 49/4Q, 49/4S and 49/4W, in patta No. 346, measuring 40.00 cents, at Nayakkanpatti, Alagarkovil, Madurai.

2.The learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice on behalf of the respondents stated that the patta stands in the name of the petitioner.

3.A direction is issued to the second and third respondents/Tahsildar and Taluk Surveyor of Madurai East Taluk, Madurai District to examine the representation of the petitioner and after making 2/4

necessary enquiry, if there is no impediment, proceed to conduct survey of the lands. The entire exercise should be completed within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
