Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the petitioner's representations dated 08.05.2025 and 09.05.2025 submitted for the brutal attack and causing bodily injuries on the said date as against the respondents 4 to 10 and subsequently for suitable orders on her complaint on merits in accordance with law forthwith. ORDER

The petitioner has lodged a complaint before the respondent Police alleging that the respondents 4 to 10 have brutally attacked her and thereby, caused bodily injuries and therefore, she requested to take necessary necessary action as against them. Since the said complaint has not been considered by the respondent Police, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

2. Mr.R.M.Anbunithi, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, who takes notice for the respondent Police, on instructions, submits that based on the complaint of the petitioner, a case has been registered in Crime No.45 of 2025 on the file of the Kadupatti Police Station, Kadupatti, Madurai District and therefore, nothing survives in this writ petition. 2/4

3. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this writ petition is closed. No costs.
