O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a mandamus directing the respondents to dispose of the proceedings in Na.Ka.Nos.387 and 388 of 2019, dated 26.06.2019, pending on the file of the first respondent, at the earliest.

2. When the matter came up for consideration on 13.03.2025, it was brought to the notice of this Court by the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent - Transport Corporation that the proceedings in Na.Ka.Nos.387 and 388 of 2019, which were pending before the first respondent, were already concluded as early as on 01.08.2022, vide proceedings of the third respondent in Ref.TNSTC/PDK/LS/SM/17, dated 30.05.2024. As there was no representation for the petitioner, the matter was directed to be listed today under the caption "for dismissal". Accordingly, this matter is listed today under the caption "for dismissal".

3. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, learned counsel for the petitioner sought time to verify as to whether the proceedings in Na.Ka.No.387 and 388 of 2019 are pending before the first respondent or not.

4. However, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent, on instructions, submitted that the said proceedings were already disposed of by the first respondent.

5. In the light of the above, the cause of action in the present writ petition does not survive.

6. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs.
