O R D E R
The Writ petition has been filed in the nature of Mandamus seeking a direction to the respondents particularly, the second respondent/ Tahsildar, Krishnarayapuram Taluk, Karur District, to survey the land of the petitioner in Survey No.243/1A, Old Survey No.243/1 at Panchapatti Village, Krishnarayapuram Taluk, Karur District, and to demarcate the four boundaries. The petitioner had given a representation on 25.05.2023
2. The petitioner had stated that the land had been assigned to the petitioner and patta had been issued in the name of the petitioner 2/5
herein. It is also stated that since the land is abutting the road, several shops are put up by various persons on the road side and they are obstructing the passage of the petitioner to access the road. It is under those circumstances, a representation has been given to survey the lands of the petitioner herein.

A direction is given to the second respondent/Tahsildar, Krishnarayapuram Taluk, Karur District, to take the assistance of the Head Surveyor and inspect the lands of the petitioner, examine the documents relating to the property of the petitioner and thereafter, measure the lands and fix the boundaries. In this connection, the said exercise may be conducted after issuing notice to the various shopkeepers and a direction is given that they must also co-operate and if they do not co-operate and if they had actually encroached the lands of the petitioner, for conducting the survey, assistance of the jurisdictional police may also be sought by the second respondent. The entire exercise must be completed within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
