For Respondent : Mr.KR.Bharathi Kannan, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.1220 of 2020 on the file of the Respondent Police ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner /A-1 apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under sections 294(b), 324, 341, 342 & 506(ii) of IPC, in Crime No.1220 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that in a wordy quarrel, the petitioner along with accused persons caught hold the defacto complainant and abused him using filthy language and the petitioner herein assaulted him with steel object and also threatened him with dire consequences. Hence, a complaint has been registered.

3. Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (criminal side). https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he seeks anticipatory bail.

5. The learned Government Advocate (criminal side)appearing for the respondent police would submit that there are Eight previous cases pending against the petitioner including an offence under Section 302 of IPC.

6. Taking note of the submission of the learned Government Advocate (criminal side) and considering the fact that there are Eight previous cases pending against the petitioner including an offence under Section 302 of IPC, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail.

7. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
