********** By consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2.The petitioner has come up with present writ petition seeking issuance of writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to issue the Community Certificate to the petitioner as "Kattu Naicken".

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would suffice, if a direction is issued to the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner. 4.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent submitted that the representation of the petitioner would be considered on merits.

5.In the light of the above submissions and the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 11.07.2017, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
