ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.SRIMATHY, J.) Challenging the order passed by the first respondent/the District Collector, Tirunelveli, dated 29.04.2025, this Writ Petition has been filed. 2.As against the impugned order, Revision remedy is provided under Section 10(A) of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905, before the Government. When the Act provides for an effective Revision remedy before the Government against the impugned order, without exhausting the same, it would not be appropriate to entertain the present Writ Petition. 3.In the light of the above, we are not inclined to entertain the Writ Petition. Accordingly, the petitioner is directed to file a Revision Petition before the authority concerned as provided under Section 10(A) of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt 2/4

of a copy of this order. Till such time, the respondents are restrained from taking any action.

4.With the aforesaid directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
