O R D E R

This writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondent herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.07.2021 and take necessary action upon the contents of the complaint.

2. Even though writ of mandamus for such direction will not lie, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that based upon the complaint given by the petitioner, enquiry was undertaken in CSR No.152 of 2021 and during the course of enquiry it was found that it is absolutely false complaint. There is no truth in it. So it was closed on 20.07.2021. A copy of the closure report has also been circulated to this Court.

3. It appears that a case in Crime No.140 of 2021 has been registered against the petitioner on 04.07.2021 for the offences punishable under Sections 498(A), 294(b), 323, 307, 324 and 506(ii) IPC and Section 4 of Tamilnadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002. Since the complaint given by the petitioner has been closed, the petitioner has to workout his remedy through appropriate https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

4. Granting the above said liberty, this petition is disposed of, as infructuous.
