This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to give the permission and adequate police protection for conducting Adal Padal Dance Programme scheduled to be held on 13.07.2022 in the eve of Arulmigu "Sree Pottal Kaliyamman Temple" Festival at Thiruvallur Street, Sevarakkottai, Thiruppathur Taluk, Sivagangai District on the basis of petitioner's representation, dated 30.06.2022.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents submitted that there is a likelihood of law and order problem between two rival groups in the same village and there is also an apprehension of communal problem there. The respondent police has to be decided the law and order problem in the particular locality and already previous case has been registered.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to set aside the order passed by the respondent police and therefore, the impugned order is hereby confirmed.
