PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Section 438 of Cr.P.C. PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.6 of 2022 on the file of the Respondent police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/A.1, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 376, 417, 294(b) and 506(1) IPC and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Women Harassment Act, in Crime No.6 of 2022, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner and the defacto complainant were in love and by giving false promise, he had physical relationship with her on several times, but now he is not ready to marry her. Hence, the complaint.

3. No doubt, the earlier applications for anticipatory bail filed by the petitioner in Crl.O.P.(MD)Nos.5899 and 9950 of 2022 were dismissed by this Court vide orders dated 20.04.2022 and 08.06.2022.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution.

5. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that they have already sent cell phone and the report is yet to be received.

6. Considering the seriousness and gravity of the offence alleged against the petitioner and also the fact that there is no change in circumstances, since the dismissal of the earlier petition, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
