Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to give land assignment to the petitioner for land in S.F.No.115 and 116 at kalanivasal village, Koviloor Panchayath, Karaikudi Taluk, Sivagangai District with an extent of 5 acres and issue patta in favour of the petitioner based on the representations of the petitioner dated 10.03.2017 and 18.09.2017. ORDER
This writ petition is filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to give land assignment to the petitioner for land in S.F.No.115 and 116 at kalanivasal village, Koviloor Panchayath, Karaikudi Taluk, Sivagangai District with an extent of 5 acres and issue patta based on the representations of the petitioner dated 10.03.2017 and 18.09.2017. 2.Mr.A.Muthukaruppan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.Mr.R.Jegadeeswaran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would suffice, if a direction is issued to the second respondent to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 10.03.2017 and 18.09.2017. 4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent would submit that the representations of the petitioner would be considered in accordance with law.
5.In the light of the above, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the second respondent to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 10.03.2017 and 18.09.2017 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after providing opportunity to all necessary parties, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
