ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed seeking mandamus directing the first respondent to grant approval to the layout application submitted by the writ petitioner through online on 18.02.2025.

2. On instructions, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent submits that the said application has been returned on the ground that civil suit is pending and the portal has also been closed. 2/4

3. Considering the above said facts, the petitioner is directed to submit an application in person to the first respondent herein within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order along with the interim order passed in C.R.P.(MD)No.1217 of 2025.

4. The authorities are directed to consider the layout application and grant approval if it is otherwise in order. A mere pendency of the civil suit will not be a bar for considering the layout application unless there is a specific order from the Civil Court not to alienate or encumber the property.

5. With the above said observation, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 21.05.2025 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes rmi R.VIJAYAKUMAR, J.
