Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the entire records pertaining to the impugned order in Pa.Moo.Aa.No.1/5450/2024 dated 22.04.2025 passed by the 1st respondent and quash the same as illegal consequently direct the Respondent 1 & 2 to restore the Patta No.560 in the names of the petitioner and his deceased elder brother S.Gurusamy before the proceedings of the Respondent No.2 in D.R.No.2023/0103/26/192397 dated 19.04.2023 for the past 53 years and consequently direct the 3rd respondent not to provide compensation to the Respondent Nos.4 to 6 on the basis of patta alone.

ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed challenging the order passed by the first respondent herein mutating the revenue records in favour of the private respondents. An effective alternative remedy is available by filing an appeal before the District Revenue Officer as against the impugned order.

2. On perusal of the records, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the order impugned in this writ petition. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of with a liberty to the petitioner to file an appeal before the competent authority. Mere participation of the Respondent Nos.4 to 6 herein in the enquiry conducted by the third respondent will not confer any right upon them, unless they establish their right before the Civil Court.
