RESPONDENT/COMPLAINANT Petition filed praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to extend the time imposed in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.6230 of 2021 dated 30/04/2021 and permit the petitioner to surrender and execute sureties before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Srirangam, Trichy District.

Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.G.BALUMAHENDRAN, Advocate for the petitioner and of Mr.P.KOTTAI CHAMY, Government Advocate(crl.side) on behalf of the Respondent, the Court made the following order:- This petition has been filed to extend the time to comply with the condition imposed in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.6230 of 2021 dated 30.04.2021.

2. It appears that the petitioner has been granted anticipatory bail as early as on 30.04.2021 and after a period of four months, this application has been filed for extension of time, stating that due to the pandemic situation, the petitioner could not arrange the sureties. This Court is not satisfied with the reasons assigned in the petition. Therefore, this petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh application for anticipatory bail, if so advised.
