ORDER

The Contempt Petition is filed to punish the respondent for the willful disobedience of the order of this Court made in Crl.O.P(MD)No.17171 of 2022, dated 26.11.2024.

Upon perusal of the material records of the case, this Court, while quashing the proceedings in P.R.C.No.25 of 2022 against the petitioner, in turn directed the Superintendent of Police, Tirunelveli, to conduct an enquiry with reference to two sets of FIRs and two complaints indicated in the order and, if creation of a false document and using the same are genuine and other offences are made out, directed the respondent to register a case and investigate into the same. Complaining of wilful disobedience of the said case, the Contempt Petition is filed.

3. When the matter came up for hearing today, a status report was also filed, and the sets of documents are also filed. According to the learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) as directed by this Court, a detailed enquiry was conducted and as per the enquiry, it is found that no offence is made out and one of the Inspectors of Police involved in the issue has also since died.

4. In reply thereof, the party-in-person would submit that still the contents of the preliminary enquiry report are incorrect and the offences are made out. As far as the directions are concerned, it can be seen that the same is complied with by the respondent. If the petitioner is aggrieved by the outcome of the preliminary enquiry, it will always be open for the petitioner to file a private 2/4

complaint before the Jurisdictional Magistrate, which shall be dealt with in the manner known to law.

5. Giving such liberty to the petitioner regarding compliance of the order, the Contempt Petition stands closed.
