ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed against the accused in Crime No.187 of 2013 on the file of Judicial Magistrate No.II, Thanjavur. The prosecution filed Crl.M.P.No.2746 of 2021 to call for the petition mentioned documents and for obtaining forensic opinion. The said petition was allowed by the trial Court Magistrate on 10.08.2021. Pursuant to the said order, the document in question had also been sent to the Forensic Lab and the report is likely to come in four weeks. A discretionary order has been passed by the Court below. It has not been demonstrated to be perverse. Therefore, I am not inclined to interfere with the same in exercise of the jurisdiction under Section 482 Cr.P.C. Leaving open to the petitioner's defences and contentions, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.

The Forensic Lab is directed to send the report within four weeks and the trial itself shall be completed on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four months thereafter. This Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
