Prayer : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C to issue a direction to the second respondent herein to provide necessary Police protection to the petitioner's life and agriculture property in Survey No. 194/2 situated at Pudur Village, Natham Taluk, Dindigul District. For Petitioner : Mr.J.Senthil Kumaraiah For R-1 and R-2 : Mr.R.Suresh Kumar, Government Advocate (Criminal Side).
ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent herein to provide necessary Police protection to the petitioner's life and agriculture property in Survey No. 194/2 situated at Pudur Village, Natham Taluk, Dindigul District.
2. The facts of the case are that the petitioner and his family members are having coconut plantation in their own lands. The coconut plantation is the only source of income. The respondents 3 to 10 are no way connected with the petitioner's properties and they are illegally trespassed into the petitioner's properties and attempted to abduct the coconut yield. The petitioner preferred a 2/5
complaint against the respondents 3 to 10 and an F.I.R has been registered in Crime No.161 of 2022 for offences under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 323, 324, 354 and 506(ii) I.P.C. Thereafter, the third respondent made a false complaint against the petitioner and FIR was registered in Crime No.160 of 2022 for offences under Sections 447, 147, 148, 294(b), 324, 354, 379 and 506(ii) of I.P.C. In this regard, the petitioner preferred representation dated 11.05.2022 to the respondent Police seeking for protection. Since, no action was taken, the present Criminal Original Petition has been filed.
3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submitted that the respondent Police have received the representation and the enquiry is under progress.
4. Recording the same, this Court directs the second respondent to enquire the case in Crime No.161 of 2022 and counter case in Crime No.160 of 2022 within a period of three (3) weeks and take suitable action on merits in this matter within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
