ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents to grant permission and police protection for conducting cock fight at Periyapatti Amman Kovil ground, Valayapatti, Vadipatti Taluk and Madurai District on 27.05.2025 and 28.05.2025 between 10.00 a.m. and 04.00 p.m. by the petitioner's representation dated 16.05.2025.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the petitioner's representation dated 16.05.2025 was considered and the request of the petitioner was rejected by the 2nd respondent, by his proceedings dated 19.05.2025. 2/4

3. In view of the above, this writ petition is closed. It is always open to the petitioner to challenge the proceedings of the 2nd respondent dated 19.05.2025 in the manner known to law. No costs. 28.05.2025 NCC :
