For Respondent : Mr.B.Thanga Aravindh, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.241 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/A1, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under sections 294(b), 353,307,109, 379 of IPC and section 21(1) of Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957 in Crime No.241 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that on 27.05.2023 during vehicle check up the respondent police stopped the vehicle for checking whether sand is illegally transported at that time the petitioner herein drove the vehicle in a rash manner and hit the defacto complainant and also abused him in filthy language Hence, a case has been registered.

3. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record including the First Information Report. 4.It is seen that when the police personnel stopped the vehicle of the petitioner for check up they attacked the police personnel, due to which they sustained injuries, therefore custodial https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2

CRL OP(MD). No.9932 of 2023 interrogation of the petitioner is very much required in this case, hence this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
