ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Sole Accused, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 354(A)(1)(ii) and 506(i) of I.P.C., in Crime No.284 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the de-facto complainant's daughter, namely, Jansirani is a deaf and dumb. The petitioner, by showing money, had asked her to come with him and sexually tortured her and also criminally intimidated her not to disclose the same. Hence, the case.

3.Heard. Perused the materials available on record including the First Information Report.

https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 4.It is seen that the victim girl aged about 29 years and she is a deaf and dumb. While being so, the petitioner is a senior

citizen, aged about 63 years, compelled the victim girl having physical sexual relationship and misbehaved with her. Since the petitioner has committed very serious and heinous offence as against the deaf and dumb and disabled girl and as such, the custodial interrogation of the petitioner is very much required in this case. Hence, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
