ORDER:- This Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Thiru. C.Prabhu Rajadurai, Advocate for the Petitioner and of Thiru. R.M.S.Sethuraman, Additional Public Prosecutor, for the respondents,this Court made the following order: This petition is filed seeking direction to the 1st respondent herien to monitor the investigation that has been undertaken in Crime No.259 of 2018 on the file of the 2nd respondent. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the investigation has been completed and the final report was also filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate-I, Sivagangai on 02.01.2019, but the same has not been taken on file so far.

3.Since the final report has been filed in 2019 itself, Registry is directed to call for report from the learned Judicial Magistrate-I, Sivagangai as to the stage of the final report that has been presented by the respondent police herein. In the meantime, the learned Judicial Magistrate-I, Sivagangai may also process the final report in accordance with law.
