Respondents Prayer: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court, to issue a Writ of Certiorari, calling for the records in pertaining to the impugned order of the 2nd respondent in Na.Ka.No.310 of 2017 dated 12.09.2017 and quash the same as illegal.

ORDER

The petitioner has filed this writ petition to quash the enquiry notice issued by the 2nd respondent dated 12.09.2017. 2.Heard Mr.K.Makendran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Velmurugan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3.The second respondent by the impugned notice called for a meeting on 22.09.2017 to select the Managing Trustee of Pudukkottai Vellaiyammal Temple. Challenging the notice, the present Writ Petition is filed.

respondents would submit that in the meeting held on 22.09.2017 Managing Trustee has been selected for the said Temple and therefore the prayer made in the present writ petition has become infructuous.

5.In the light of the above submission, no further adjudication is necessary in this writ petition. Hence, the Writ Petition is closed giving liberty to the petitioner to challenge the order selecting the Managing Trustee of the temple in the manner known to law. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
