ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) The grievance of the petitioner is that the public pathway has been obstructed due to encroachment made by the respondents 6 to 8. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the third respondent Temple submitted that the names of the respondents 6 to 8 have been wrongly included in the Temple records and steps are being taken to delete their names. In this regard, an appeal has been filed before the District Revenue Officer, which is pending. 3.In view of the above, the parties are at liberty to approach the District Revenue Officer concerned for disposal of the said appeal, after affording due opportunity to the parties.

4.The District Revenue Officer concerned shall dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law. Subject to the orders to be passed by the District Revenue Officer, all further actions are to be initiated. 3/6

5.With these directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
