ORDER

Alleging that the order of this court dated 30.01.2024 has not been complied with, the petitioner is before this court with this contempt petition.

When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that one Anbarasan, who is the representative of the Jameendharvalasai, has filed a public interest litigation before this Court in WP(MD) No. 19814 of 2024 impleading the petitioner as 8th respondent in the writ petition praying for a direction to the official respondents to remove the encroachment made by the 7th respondent therein and the petitioner herein by laying the pipeline to transport water. The said writ petition was disposed of by directing the official respondents therein to consider the representation.

Since the Division Bench in yet another writ petition has directed the official respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner therein and that there is no wilful disobedience of the order of this Court dated 30.01.2024, the respondents herein are directed to implement the order of the Division Bench dated 30.01.2025. Accordingly, this Contempt Petition is closed. 06.06.2025 NCC :
