Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 3rd and 4th Respondents herein to consider our representation dated 31.08.2022, 08.02.2023 and 01.10.2024 in the light of the instructions of the 1st Respondent conveyed through the 2nd Respondent in K.Dis.4604/1CB/2023 dated 27.02.2023 and to waive interest and penal interest from the date of demise of petitioner late husband on 17.08.2018 who was granted NEEDS loan by the 3rd Respondent Bank and to accept payment on deducting the remaining subsidy amount within the time frame as fixed by this Court. ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus as against the respondents 3 and 4 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 31.08.2022, 08.02.2023 and 01.10.2024 for waiving the interest and penal interest for the loan borrowed by the husband of the writ petitioner from the fifth respondent.

2.According to the learned counsel for the writ petitioner, in the light of the instructions issued by the first respondent and the second respondent, the interest as well as the penal interest are liable to be waived. Despite the instructions as well as representations given by the petitioner, sofar orders have not been passed.

3.Considering above said facts, the fourth respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 01.10.2024 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.This writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
