O R D E R
This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to consider the representation dated 15.09.2020 and take necessary action upon the same, within the time that may be fixed by this Court.
2. According to the petitioner, he has two cows and one calf for doing his milk business which is worth about Rs.1,50,000/-. While so, one Periasamy, Manimaran along with five unknown persons trespassed into petitioner's house and had untied his two cows and one calf and forcibly taken the same. While that time, the petitioner and his father restraining them from their illegal activities. But, they threatened the petitioner with dire consequences and scolded with filthy language. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has no 1/3
transaction with the above said persons. Hence, the petitioner made a complaint dated 15.09.2020 before the second respondent police. But so far, no action has been taken. Hence, the present petition. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that in the last occasion, when the matter was taken up for hearing, this Court directed the respondents to file status report. But till date, no status report was filed. He further submitted that it would suffice, if a direction is issued to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 15.09.2020 within a stipulated period that may be fixed by this Court.

The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner dated 15.09.2020 will be considered within a period of two weeks. 5.Considering the submissions made on either side, the respondents are directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioner, dated 15.09.2020, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, on merits and in accordance with law and communicate the result to the petitioner so that he can work out his rights in the manner known to law. 6.With this direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
