The writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to give adequate protection to the petitioner's life and limb and immovable property of the petitioner comprised in S.F.No.146/5.35 and 36 of Komangalam Village, Viralinmalai Taluk, Pudukkottai District on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 24.09.2017.
2. Mr.A.K.Baskara Pandian, learned Special Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents 1 & 2. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 & 2.

4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has given a representation, dated 24.09.2017 seeking police protection to the petitioner's life and limb. Since the same has not been considered so far, the present writ petition is filed for the relief stated supra. 5.When the matter was taken up for hearing, both the petitioner as well as the learned Special Government Pleader agreed for final disposal of the petition.
6. Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in the writ petition, without going into merits of the case, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 24.09.2017 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving personal opportunity to the petitioner.
7. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
