PRAYER :- Writ Petition, filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records of the impugned order in ROC.P3/239/2025 dated 11.04.2026 issued by the 4th respondent, quash the same as illegal and consequently directing the 3rd respondent to reinstate the petitioner at Koothalur Panchayat.

ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking writ of Certiorarified Mandamus challenging the proceeding No.ROC.P3/ 239/2025 dated 11.04.2026, whereby, the petitioner was placed under suspension pending conclusion of a disciplinary proceedings. 2/6
2. As the Disciplinary Proceedings have already been initiated by issuing a charge memo, dated 26.03.2026 and the same is admittedly pending, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the impugned proceedings at this stage.
3. However, considering the fact that the petitioner is stated to be a physically challenged person, who is now placed under suspension and also making an allegation of harassment against the officer holding the post of respondent No.4, who also happens to be the disciplinary authority, the second respondent is directed to look into this aspect and appoint some other officer as a disciplinary authority in respect of the charge memo, dated 26.03.2026 and ensure that the disciplinary proceedings initiated against the petitioner are concluded as expeditiously as possible, at any rate within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3/6
4. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. 29.04.2026 Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes / No rm 4/6
